At Mighty Fortress, kids learn that God is their refuge and strength. Friends may fail them. They may not ace their test or make the team, but God promises to be their rock and their salvation—their fortress and sure defense. So raise your banner! In Jesus, the victory is won!

To Register your child for VBS 2017:

Each year Covenant of Grace hosts approximately 150 children from Reisterstown and surrounding communities for a fun-filled week of Vacation Bible School. With a variety of themes, we may be visiting the jungle, places of the Bible, or a tropical island!

Our VBS program is for children ages 4 through those who have just completed 5th grade. VBS week is filled with energetic activities such as:

  • Crafts
  • Bible lessons
  • Fun songs
  • Outdoor games
  • Snacks
  • Storyteller time
  • Pony rides
  • Puppet shows

Staffed by a wonderful group of volunteers, we share the love of Jesus with every child who comes.  We also have a mission emphasis and often at our Friday evening closing program have a missionary, whom the children have helped support throughout the week, present a fabulous lesson and puppet show!

Children who have completed grades 6-8 attend our middle school VBS program and have their own special games and lessons!
